Snails damage ornamental plants

Ornamental plants of all kinds, especially orchids, planted in the ground, in pots, nurseries or gardens, whether grown as ornamental gardens or in production, can be damaged by snails. There are many types of snails that damage ornamental plants: Apple snails, slime snails, ghost snails, etc. All of them bite and destroy the roots, leaves, and petals, causing stunted plants, patchy leaves, damaged petals. The slime from snails also leaves spots on leaves and flowers, reducing the commercial value of the plant. Snails of all kinds in general like sweet taste, fishy smell usually live in damp, discreet places, during the day they live buried in rotted soil, root mulched straw, waiting to crawl out in the evening to bite the roots or crawl up trees to damage leaves, flowers.

Features and effects of Bosago 12AB

Bosago 12AB is a snail killer, in the form of bait, which is hard pressed so it is slow to decay, has a long effect, the main ingredient is the active ingredient of Metaldehyde and additives (bran, fish meal, sugar etc...) with attractive properties. When snails come to eat, the product has a contact and drainage effects, affecting the absorption of nutrients, especially the product makes snails secrete more viscous leading to dehydration, snails stop eating and die quickly.

Bosago 12 AB is used to exclude slime snails, apple snails, snails etc. Harm ornamental flowers, orchids planted in the ground, in pots, home gardens, nurseries or large production gardens.

The product is made for urban agriculture, convenient to take care of ornamental plants of all kinds. Bosago 12AB in  spreading granule, can be mixed with pesticides, granular fertilizers of all kinds to fertilize the root.

Because snails often appear and cause damage in the evening, it is best to apply at the root in the evening, the efficiency will be high.

How to use:

Dosage: 3-5 kg/ha if used to kill snails in nurseries or gardens. The product can be spread at the base, along the ditches and beds where snails often appear. If the orchid is  planted in a pot: Spread 3-5 granule around the base. Should be spread in the cool late afternoon. Snails are many, appear regularly, can periodically spread after 5-7 days.
